Spotlight 29.

Both of the works above are featured in a recent issue of Circle Foundation’s publication, Spotlight 29.

Euclid’s Bird (on the left) was an earlier work that combined my fascination with colorful backgrounds with leftover associations with Geometry, my favorite course in high school. The bird just seemed to belong there.

3 Crows, on the right, is a bit later version of similar inclinations (variegated backgrounds interlaced with geometric allusions), that leverage Golden Interference paints to create the luminous effect across the surface. And, this time, the Crows were more central - probably because I was thinking of all the ones we feed in the back yard.
