Playing With Some Geometric Ideas in Acrylic
As I’ve mentioned a couple times on this site, my favorite high-school class was Geometry. Geometry lends itself to rather organized paintings, rather like the constructions I used to do in class — though clearly what I’m showing here is much looser in form.
I do fewer of these highly-structured paintings than I used to but, every once and a while, I break into full geometric mode, with clean lines and hard edges to contrast against the more fluidly defined backgrounds.
